Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14 on the 14th of April, 1970) is an American actor. She is known for her work on the stage and screen. Additionally, she's been nominated for 2 Tony Awards and has won an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Allison Janney is a well-known actor who spent more than 20 years in regional theater. The actress became well-known for portraying White House press secretary C.J. Gregg was a part of the highly popular and acclaimed television series The West Wing, which ran on NBC between 1999 and 2006. Allison Janney is a natural late bloomer.
