Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about being raised living in "a the white bubble." The actress also discusses how that realization has affected her parenting of adoptees who are multi-racial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl admitted that she didn't care about her complexion until she came across her adopted sister who was from South Korea. Meg was asked if she was treated differently while they were together with their parents, and in the case of going out on their own. She answered, "Oh yeah, always!" This made me realize I was naive," Heigl said to parents. She admitted to becoming frustrated, but decided use that anger to aid the adopted children she has. Sheigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4. together for thirteen years. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8), who is black in 2009.
